About
I love working with my hands. There is nothing that makes me feel more relaxed or at home with myself. So when faced with the choice of what to do with my life, I knew I had to be unconventional and give the artist’s life a shot!
I majored in 3-D studio art at the College of William & Mary, and when graduating meant leaving the pottery studio behind, I knew I wasn’t going to be ok with that. So I bought a used pottery wheel off of Craigslist, got an internship at the Visual Arts Center in Richmond, VA, and worked at Starbucks while I got started.
Since then, I have been making and selling my work, both in person and online. I moved to California for 5 years, adopted 3 fur babies, got married, and have moved back to the east coast where my studio is now located near Charlotte, North Carolina.
Over these past 10 years, I have found a love for making berry bowls and colanders. I poke each hole by hand, and while most people find this kind of work tedious, the repetitive process is so relaxing and rewarding for me, and so this is where I focus most of my attention.
My goal is that each piece I make is both beautiful and useful - something that feels good in your hands and adds a little joy to your everyday routine. Whether you’re here to browse, buy, or just learn more, thank you so much for stopping by:)
